Talk:Offensive Spells Comparison Table

Did spells get changed around a lot? Since Shocking Grasp is listed as 2MP for 7DMG and the page of the spell itself states it's 5MP for 7DMG. And that's just the first spell. Anyone with decent info on this? -Ongewitter- 03:12, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Yep, They underwent a major revision, and the table is the Word of Bob Himself. So this info will supercede the individual spell pages. Logan Runs 04:44, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
The best way to tell what is correct is to search the Changelog as posted by Bob on the forums. If something is written there, that is the correct information and should replace whatever the wiki might say. --Liche 05:47, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
The problem is that he didn't specify exactly what changed and just gave a linky to the Comparison Table. So the specific Spells need changing then? -Ongewitter- 13:22, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
Yes, that is correct. The current version of the Offensive Spells Comparison Table is correct. When I edited the table to account for Bob's new updates, I forgot to adjust each individual spell's page. Not every spell needs adjusting -- I think it's just a few of the Electrical spells. --Liche 18:28, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
If I click a random spell, it needs changing. Major overhaul indeed. Let's get crackin' -Ongewitter- 23:04, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Got up to Glacier Touch, will continue tomorrow. Most likely. I like doing this a few minutes before going to bed, it's relaxing :P -Ongewitter- 23:26, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Done. All the spell pages are uniform as well, job well done. -Ongewitter- 08:44, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

Made a new table and I hid it in the source because two tables about the same spells and the only difference being one showing dmg/MP seemed too redundant to me. I'll keep it this way untill I find a way to get the dmg/MP in the other one as well. Or whatever. -Ongewitter- 21:00, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

I looked at the GUWAST version and personally I like this one better. Sure the GUWAST shows the holes really neatly, but this one has them sortable by damage and type. I also have no room left to post the find weights, which traders may find interesting. -Ongewitter- 09:52, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

I would switch the table so that Damage type and Damage are paired up next to one another, but I can't be arsed to do it. It looks fine as is, really. There's more pressing things to change (like locations, locations, locations.) -Ongewitter- 21:04, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
