XP From Aethersprite Healing

There is none, should there be? --DylanMakTyme 20:20, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

You didn't get any xp for it in the original Nexus War, and the changelog doesn't mention anything about getting (or not getting) xp for it. --WikiMallich 11:58, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Since other healing actions garner XP, I propose updating the page accordingly, then. --DylanMakTyme 14:00, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
You're not supposed to get healing XP from sprites because it'd be eight 10HP heals for 1AP and 20MP, which is nuts. Especially with Brother's Bond. That'd be 80XP multiplied by however many sprites you can muster, just stand outside or something. No idea if this is mentioned anywhere though. Huh. -Ongewitter- 09:13, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
Other XP from pets is on a discounted basis for the reason you cite, half XP rounded down for damage for example, it would not be out of kilter to award an XP per heal event. The primary benefit to the pet master is currently healing, but a secondary benefit of a little XP when others are healed would seem consistent with how healing is rewarded elsewhere. Of course, for the record, with four pet masters I am not opposed to providing an XP for every HP healed, or even the half rate model as with damage. As it stands, politically in many factions sprites are not used despite the obvious advantages of having sprites during a raid because it deprives the lower levels of healing opportunities for leveling purposes. A pet master can already stand on a corner and level up on all of the optimists that come by. --DylanMakTyme 16:21, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
This really isn't the place to discuss this, we've got forums for that and Bob almost never comes up here, let alone a Talk page. You should make a suggestion post. -Ongewitter- 10:08, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Slight contradiction regarding whether they always try to heal

They are primarily concerned with the health and safety of the Lightspeaker who summoned them, and will heal him first before attacking.

Compared to:

On a "retaliatory" tick, Aethersprites have a 10% chance of healing in lieu of attacking.

"10%" or "always"?--WikiMallich 23:11, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Sprites not healing Invis characters

It is important to note that while Aethersprites can target and attack invisible characters, they cannot heal any invisible characters of good morality in their immediate location.

I decided to document it because that's the current behavior, but I'm not entirely sure this isn't really a bug and shouldn't go into a MinorBugWarning box instead. -Aidan (talk) 17:16, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
