Rods of Magic

Rods are magical weapons that use the Ranged Spells combat tree. They are recharged with Power Gems, and do exotic damage based on type of Rod. They cannot be unloaded; the charges must be expended before they can be reloaded.

They cannot be crafted or improved, nor do they decay. They have a bonus of +10% ToHit, for a base ToHit of 20%.

Rods benefit from Factional bonuses and spell skill bonuses such as granted by Fortify Spell and Spell Empowerment. They do not benefit from spell affinity or weapon skill bonuses. They can be imbued with spells via Martial Spellcraft as normal.
